Welcome to the fun and friendly Gaynes Hall, where a handful of bell tents are dotted around 20 acres of lovely manor grounds, with a horsebox bar at the centre and wildlife all around. Our premier tents our decked out with a comfy beds and a private fire pit with outdoor seating, for daytime picnics or late night marshmallow toasting. There’s a communal kitchen and shepherd’s hut bathrooms shared with seven other tents, and a shared hot tub. There’s also the horsebox bar, where you can share a drink with fellow guests and discuss your day’s adventures.

With Grafham Water just a stroll away, those could be anything from wild swimming and kayaking to a gentle ramble along the nine-mile circular round the reservoir. You can even try trout fishing! There’s a high rope centre and archery nearby, while owner Max is on hand to arrange yoga classes and there’s croquet on the lawn if you’re looking for a more leisurely time. If you’re not feeling the call of the fire, then head over to The Wheatsheaf for a great dinner or to pick up home-cooked takeaway, before you settle in for the night or wander over to see who’s at the horsebox.
